Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee (Super SAC)
CISD has developed an intra-district advisory group to promote student unity/leadership in order to foster opportunities for students to network and interact across campus and vertical boundaries.
Super SAC membership consists of the Superintendent's Cabinet, Middle and High School principals, three student representatives from each grade level (6-12). Student terms are two years of service for 6th, 7th, 9th, and 11th graders and one year term for 8th, 10th, and 12th graders. Students will work in collaborative teams to share ideas, ask questions, and advise district personnel and Board of Education on issues affecting the district. The topics discussed for Super SAC meetings are suggested by the students.
