My name is Kent Gabrielson, but students call me “Mr. G” for short. This will be my 11th year as school counselor. I taught five years as a special education teacher at Gerard before becoming school counselor. I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2004 and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Tarleton in 2002.
I am honored to work with students, community, parents, and staff to develop a comprehensive school counseling program that leads our Grizzlies to excel. In addition, I will support students through character building lessons and activities, small groups, and individual counseling that support their social, emotional, and academic needs.
I'm looking forward to visiting with you!
