I am proud to start a new journey as the principal of Irving Elementary. During my career, I have been a 3rd-grade and 6th-grade teacher, middle school principal and assistant principal, high school assistant principal, and academic principal.
I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University. My ED. S. in Educational Leadership and Administration is from Lincoln Memorial University and my EDD in Curriculum and Instruction is from Carson Newman University.
I am part of a proud military family which includes my husband Eric and our two sons, Eric and Tyler. I have also been blessed with two beautiful daughters-in-law, Nichole and Sarabeth, and my new pride and joy, granddaughter, Piper.
At Irving, our vision is “Removing Obstacles Achieving Results!” We strive to meet the needs of every student while providing them with the tools necessary to be successful in the future, both academically and socially. We are committed to working together, teachers, parents, and students, as a FAMILY. Everyone has an essential role in creating a positive learning environment that will impact our students’ motivation to learn! Go Tigers!! ROAR!
