Academic Assistant Principal
This is my 8th year at Smith Intermediate School. I am excited about my new role as Academic Assistant Principal. I am very passionate about fostering positive relationships of trust in order to build a cohesive, caring and inclusive learning community. I look forward to my new role at Smith IS, working alongside our instructional staff to utilize innovative, engaging, and research-based lessons to enhance the overall academic success of all students.
Prior to joining the Cleburne Yellow Jacket family, I worked in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD and Mansfield ISD. My husband, Patrick and I have been married for 27 years. He is an athletic trainer at Mansfield High School. Our son, Larsen graduated in May from Stephen F. Austin State University, majoring in Marketing. Our daughter, Landrie is a Senior at Oklahoma State University majoring in Exercise Science. I have 2 pups, Kansas and Chief. I enjoy listening to positive audio books and working out.
It is going to be a great year at Smith Intermediate School. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to help all the students at Smith reach their potential.
