You excel. You serve. You lead. You succeed. You have a true thirst for challenge … and accomplishment. Membership in the National Honor Society (NHS) may be an ideal fit for you!
The Cleburne High School Chapter of NHS was established in 1958 and continues a proud tradition of recognizing students who excel in the four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Junior and Senior students are inducted once each year, in the fall, through a rigorous selection process. To be eligible for consideration, students must first meet a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.5. Students who meet the scholarship requirement will have an opportunity to complete a form detailing their accomplishments in and commitment to service, leadership, and character, and to submit teacher recommendation forms.
For the 2019-2020 school year, all forms are due to the NHS faculty selection committee no later than Thursday, October 10, 2019. Information forms received after this date will be held for consideration until next fall’s selection committee meeting.
