Mrs. Rhoades has served Marti Elementary as the Assistant Principal for the past two years.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Rhoades taught kindergarten for 8 years and third
Grade for 2 years, both at Marti. This marks her thirteenth year in education.

She received her undergraduate degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan and her Master’s in
Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Tyler. She is a life-long learner who strives to
help others learn and grow.

Mrs. Rhoades is married to a fellow educator, who teaches at the college level. She and her
husband have three grown children who serve their communities in healthcare and education. She and
her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Rhoades is proud to be a Marti
Wrangler!
