I am proud to start a new journey as the principal of Cleburne High School. During my career, I have been a 3rd-grade and 6th-grade teacher, middle school principal and assistant principal, high school assistant principal, and academic principal. I am honored to be back at CHS in this new leadership capacity.
I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University. My ED. S. in Educational Leadership and Administration is from Lincoln Memorial University and my EDD in Curriculum and Instruction is from Carson Newman University.
I am part of a proud military family, which includes my husband, Eric, and our two sons, Eric David and Tyler James. I have also been blessed with two beautiful daughters-in-law, Nichole and Sarabeth, and my new pride and joy, granddaughter, Piper.
At CHS, our mission is to know every student by name, need, and strength. We strive to meet the needs of every student while providing them with the tools necessary to be successful in the future, both academically and socially. We are committed to working together, teachers, parents, and students, as a FAMILY. Everyone has an essential role in creating a positive learning environment that will impact our students’ motivation to learn! "Excellence happens HERE" is a motto we passionately pursue by offering students a multitude of pathways to express their talents and strengths while exploring their interests.
