Cleburne HS and TEAM School Combined Graduation Exercises Set for 6 PM, May 14 at TCU

Graduation exercises honoring members of the Cleburne High School and Cleburne TEAM School Class of 2023 will take place Sunday, May 14 at 6 p.m. in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the campus of Texas Christian University. The ceremony will also be livestreamed, utilizing a link that will be posted on the CISD homepage.

Doors to Schollmaier Arena, 3000 Stadium Drive in Fort Worth, will open at 5 p.m.

The CHS graduating class, totaling 403, will be led by the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, followed by fellow members of the Top Ten Percent. The achievements of these academic leaders will be celebrated at Friday’s Pinnacle Bank Honor Graduates Breakfast taking place at Cleburne Bible Church.

Fifty-six members of the TEAM School Class of 2023 will be participating in the combined graduation exercises with their fellow Yellow Jackets. This is the second year the option has been made available to TEAM School honorees. A TEAM School graduation ceremony will also be conducted May 23 at 6 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church.

A clear bag policy is in effect at all TCU athletics facilities, including Schollmaier Arena. Visitors are only allowed to bring in clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 14 inches by 14 inches (like a one-gallon clear plastic zip-style bag). Within this clear bag guests are allowed one unopened bottle of water and a small clutch bag about the size of the hand, along with other belongings, including diapers, wipes, formula, as diaper bags and backpacks are not permitted. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at Arena gates. Guests are encouraged to allow enough time to go through inspection before the start of the graduation exercises.
