Cleburne ISD campuses will be hosting Veterans Day celebrations on Friday, from performances to parades—all in recognition of those who have served the nation in the U.S. armed forces.

                A listing of events is posted below, with veterans of our community invited to attend as honored guests. Campus visitors are encouraged to arrive several minutes ahead of the activity to complete the check-in process.

Adams Elementary

8:30 AM   Coffee and Donuts for Veterans in the Library; 9 AM Veterans Day program

Irving Elementary

8:30 AM 2^nd grade performs a song, followed by breakfast for veterans

C.C. Cooke Elementary

9 AM  4^th grade Veterans Day program

Smith Middle School

3 PM   Veterans Day assembly featuring a guest speaker, performances by the SMS band and choir

Cleburne High School

7:30 AM  Breakfast for Veterans served by CHS Student Council

8 AM   Veterans Day program in the Jeff D. Cody Arena, hosted by the CHS Navy National Defense Cadet Corps featuring the Showstoppers Dance Team and an Armed Forces Medley presented by the band and choir

Santa Fe Elementary

8 AM   Veterans Day program in the cafeteria, followed at 8:30 with a parade through the school as students and staff carry photos and signs featuring family members who have served/serving now. Veterans in attendance are invited for refreshments following the activities.

Coleman Elementary 

9 AM   Veterans parade in their vehicles around the campus, followed by reception for honorees in the cafeteria.

Marti Elementary

Throughout the day, veterans will be speaking to students in the classrooms.

Saturday-November 12

Marti Elementary Veterans Day Fall Festival  11:30 AM-1 PM

Opening ceremony by CHS Navy National Defense Cadet Corps
Hot dog lunch, games and booths. Special activities in the gym.
