Reservations are being accepted for the 2023 Cleburne ISD Jacket Jaunt Senior Tour of Cleburne High School, set for April 11.  

The day will begin at 9 a.m. at the CISD Central Offices, 505 N. Ridgeway, where travelers will board a student activity bus with Cleburne High School as the destination. The morning will be spent on a walking tour of the academic, Career and Technical Education and fine arts facilities, ending with lunch prepared by CHS student chefs in the Sting Bistro.

Reservations for the Jacket Jaunt, exclusive to those 60 and older, may be made by calling 817-202-1127 or by email to lmagers@c-isd.com. The event is free--and spaces are limited.

“I love providing tours of our campus, but welcoming those on the Jacket Jaunt is very special because many of the participants are CHS graduates,” Principal Ben Renner said. “I love hearing ‘I wish we had that when I was in school.’ Our goal is to provide our Jacket Jaunt visitors with a tour of not only our facilities, including our CTE areas, but also provide insight into the numerous instructional programs available to our 21^st century learners.”

Reservations will be accepted through April 7, or until all spaces are full. Participants are requested to wear comfortable shoes as a good amount of walking will be involved; however the tour will be limited to the first floor of the high school. The Jacket Jaunt will end at noon, when travelers will be returned to the CISD Central Offices.
