Hello!  My name is Lisa Goodman and I am blessed to serve as the Assistant Principal at Santa Fe Elementary.  I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community and to have the opportunity to serve our teachers, students, and families each day.  I received an undergraduate degree from UTA and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Reading Specialist from Stephen F. Austin.  I have 23 years of experience working with elementary students.  Prior to joining the Santa Fe family, I spent 14 years teaching Kindergarten-4th grade and 8 years as a Reading Instructional Coach.  

My husband and I have been married for 28 years and have a daughter, son, and a son-in-law who are all successfully pursuing their passions.  We just recently welcomed our first grandchild into our family.  I love spending time with my family and traveling as often as possible.  

I am committed to creating a positive and welcoming school culture that encourages all students to reach their full potential. I believe in building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.  We are truly a team working together for the success of each student at Santa Fe.

Estoy muy agradecida de ser parte de esta maravillosa comunidad y de tener la oportunidad de servir a nuestros maestros, estudiantes y familias todos los días. Recibí una licenciatura de UTA y una Maestría en Administración Educativa y Especialista en Lectura de Stephen F. Austin. Tengo 23 años de experiencia trabajando con estudiantes de primaria. Antes de unirse a la familia de Santa Fe, pasé 14 años enseñando de jardín de infantes a cuarto grado y 8 años como entrenadora de instrucción de lectura.

Mi esposo y yo hemos estado casados durante 28 años y tenemos una hija, un hijo y un yerno que persiguen con éxito sus pasiones. Recientemente le dimos la bienvenida a nuestro primer nieto a nuestra familia. Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y viajar con la mayor frecuencia posible.

Estoy comprometido a crear una cultura escolar positiva y acogedora que aliente a todos los estudiantes a alcanzar su máximo potencial. Creo en construir relaciones sólidas con los estudiantes, las familias y el personal. Somos verdaderamente un equipo trabajando juntos para el éxito de cada estudiante en Santa Fe.
