Mrs. Kampen returned to Wheat Middle School in 2021 after serving as Assistant Principal for Cooke Elementary since 2017. Prior to 2017, Mrs. Kampen served six years at Wheat Middle School teaching 8th-grade science. She received her undergraduate degree from Tarleton University in Biology and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.

She has a true passion for public education and building relationships with students and families. Partnerships are essentials to enriching students educational experience. Together, we make the most impact.
