Hi! I am proud to be serving as Smith's School Counselor for 6th-grade students and 7th-grade boys. I have been a part of the Cleburne community since 2004, working in a variety of capacities with youth and secondary students. After serving for seven years on the staff of First United Methodist Church of Cleburne, I taught at A.D. Wheat Middle School in Cleburne for six years as a 7th grade Science Teacher. I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from Texas A&M University, my Master of Arts in Christian Service from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University, and my School Counselor Certificate from Angelo State University. My husband, Matt, works as an administrator for Cleburne ISD, and I have two children who are proud students of Cleburne ISD . I am excited to partner alongside parents/guardians, teachers, and community members to help grow the whole child.

I am so happy to be starting another school year in Cleburne ISD. I have 10 years of experience in education, five of which as a counselor. Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Tarleton State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I am a certified school counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My husband, Austin, is a Firefighter/Paramedic for Cleburne Fire Department. We currently have one daughter, two dogs, five fish, and nine cows.
