Mrs. Nava is excited and proud to be a Cooke Wildcat!  Before coming to Cooke she was a school counselor in Crowley and Arlington.  Before becoming a school counselor, she taught Kindergarten in Arlington for 6 years, where she learned of the need for students to be taught social and emotional skills, too.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Education in School Counseling degree from Dallas Baptist University.

Mrs. Nava believes that all students can accomplish whatever they set their minds to and work for with unfailing determination.  She, herself, is a living example of this.  Mrs. Nava wants to continue teaching students how to become the very BEST they can be.
