• EOC is coming Tuesday, February 28th from 5:30-7:30 to help seniors and senior parents complete FAFSA/TASFA! Students/parents wanting assistance will need to bring a copy of their parents’ 1040 tax form from 2021 to complete the process. They are also seeing parents/students at their office at 218 S. Ridgeway Dr. for free assistance with FAFSA, TASFA, college applications, and scholarship opportunities.

House Bill 3 (HB 3) Implementation – Financial Aid Application

TEA requires that seniors must do one of the following in order to graduate:
    - Complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
    - Complete TASFA (Texas Application for State Financial Aid)
    - Submit a signed opt-out form

For students that do not wish to complete FAFSA/TASFA, we have opt-out forms available in our office and on our website at https://www.c-isd.com/Page/1350. These must be returned to the CHS Counseling Center so that we can enter the dates on students' transcripts. Please call or email your counselor if you have questions.
