CHS Ex-Students Assn. Seeking Nominations for Wall of Fame, Coming Home Queen

The Cleburne High School Ex-Students Association is currently accepting nominations for the 2020 Wall of Fame and Coming Home Queen awards in conjunction with Homecoming celebrations, coinciding with the Jackets’ first home football game of the season.

“While COVID precautions will not allow for a Homecoming Parade this year, we are excited to honor two graduates of Cleburne High School with the Coming Home Queen and Wall of Fame recognitions,” Ex-Students Association Officer Stephanie Philips said. “They will be presented at the October 23 Homecoming game.”

“It’s always great to have a list of candidates to choose from in selecting the honorees,” Philips said. “I know there are lots of CHS graduates worthy of these awards. We hope classmates, friends or family with someone in mind takes the time to submit a nomination.”

Nominees must have graduated from Cleburne High School. Honorees are recognized for their involvement and leadership as students, who have continued to bring honor to their high school in their careers, achievements and service to others. The Wall of Fame Award can also be presented in memoriam.

Nominations should include biographical information on the candidate, their year of graduation and high school honors. Contact information from the nominee should also be provided. Deadline for submissions is October 9 and can be emailed to lmagers@c-isd.com or Cleburne ISD Community Relations, 505 N. Ridgeway, Suite 100, Cleburne TX 76033.
